An Israeli drone targeted Ramada Plaza Hotel, which is situated in Raouche area of Beirut. It is the very first time in this ongoing war, when Israel targeted the city centre. Israel claimed that five members of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force were killed in this attack who were secretly meeting in the hotel and supporting Hezbollah. This attack happened without any warning, therefore civilians were also injured in the strike. The strike has increased fear among residents and displaced families, showing that the conflict between Israel and Iran-backed groups is spreading to more parts of Lebanon.
